Laser Welding Unit - LWU
Our LWU is engineered to perform the laser cleaning process and the laser welding process automatically. It can weld copper, alluminum and stainless steel with a wide range of thicknesses and specifications with excellent flexibility and optimal process control.
The Digatron Systems LWU is an automatic machine designed for the high quality laser welding of a wide range of metals.
The prepared battery module with busbars or cell contacting system is manually or automatically fed to the machine to the welding position.
The machine performs automatically laser welding of the busbars to the modules with high flexiblity and process control. If required, the module is flipped 180° to perform welding of the bottom busbars.
The machine automatically unloads the module for the subsquent testing and inspection operations.
