Cell Filling and Sealing Unit - CFS
The Digatron Systems CFS is designed to support the production of cylindrical cells, including 18650, 21700, 26650and 46XX formats. It comes equipped to handle one cell size, with additional tooling sets available for other sizes upon request.
Our CFS is designed to automatically handle two key steps in cylindrical cell manufacturing: filling and crimping.
It is composed of 2 stations. Each station is independent and can be operated singularly or simultaneously, producing batches of cells per cycle. The quantity produced depends on the cell dimensions.
Station 1: automatically dispenses electrolyte into cells under vacuum, with adjustable parameters and support for different cell sizes.
Station 2: seals cylindrical cells via automated crimping, with adjustable settings for crimping force and stroke.
