Electrode Cutting Unit - ECU
The Digatron Systems ECU is an automatic and autonomous electrode die cutting machine, designed to punch electrodes from coated aluminium and copper rolls.
It unwinds the electrode roll, aligns it, notches, and cuts it into individual plates.
Additional options for the ECU are available to produce a wide range of electrode dimensions, including multicell types and Lithium metal electrodes. Productivity and online controls are also included.
Depending on customer requirements, the system can be configured with either two separate units for anode and cathode processing or a single unit that handles both.
