Cell Filling and Degassing Unit - CFDU
The Digatron Systems CFDU is an automatic machine used for filling and degassing electrolyte in pouch and prismatic cells, all while making sure production runs smoothly without any operator intervention.
It is built to precisely dispense set amounts of electrolyte and temporarily vacuum-seal the cells. The machine also removes gas produced by the cell during pre-formation and performs the final vacuum sealing of the pouch cell. It comes with an automatic feeding conveyor, designed according to productivity requirements.
The CFDU is equipped with several systems, including an automatic cell handling system, a weighing system, (before and after the process) a vacuum chamber, an electrolyte metering system, a cell piercing system.
Additionally, it features a refrigerated cold trap that collects electrolyte vapors from the processed cells.
