CGW 225 – Cell grooving and tag welding unit
Digatron Systems CGW 225, is designed to perform automatically three production steps of the cylindrical cell manufacturing with just one integrated unit. The machine is built with three process stations:
Station 1: Negative tag welding to the cell can
Station 2: Cell can grooving
Station 3: Positive tag welding to the cap assembly
Each station is independent and can be operated singularly or simultaneously, producing in automatic batches of 6 cells per cycle.
The unit is built with a sturdy steel frame, integrated switch board, safety enclosure and complete with a control panel for the operation and set-up of the stations.
